#KPStaffingCrisis Nationwide Day of Action

Join us on Wednesday, October 26 to show KP we are serious about addressing the staffing crisis.

• Health care workers are experiencing exhaustion, depression, and PTSD, and are leaving the workforce in large numbers.
• Short-staffing and ongoing pandemic-related conditions make the stress even worse for those remaining on the job.
• Projections show a shortage of many health care professionals in coming years.

Solutions need to include inflation wage increases, retention bonuses, addressing experience barriers, improving job satisfaction and working conditions, increasing the number of people in the health care education pipeline, and much more.

Our workforce and our KP members cannot wait any longer.

On October 26, we will show our union strength and solidarity by wearing stickers and buttons that say “Solve the Staffing Crisis Now.” For our members who work remotely, you can download the virtual background here.

• Take photos with your “Solve the Staffing Crisis Now” buttons or stickers. Sign the online photo release and then upload your photos by scanning the QR code. You can also share them on social media with #KPStaffingCrisis.
