During Session 5 of bargaining, Douglas Wong, CIC member and Physician Assistant (UNAC/UHCP) in Neurology, shared a powerful testimony about being scheduled to remove a patient’s catheter over Zoom — an impossible task that underscores a larger issue. Frontline workers must be included in these processes to ensure they can do their jobs effectively and provide the highest quality care to patients.
